'Shroom idea for August issue and Following

Hey Stooben, I have a question. You know how we have the Fake News and Fun Stuff staff, right? I would like to know if I could make my own department called "Artwork and Music" (for the August issue and after). Here are some of the positions I would like to include:

• Director
• Sub-Director
• Suggestions Receptionist
• Character Battle
• Comics
• Featured Box-Art
• Featured Character Artwork
• Featured Screenshots
• Featured Soundtrack
• Featured Sprites
• Music Unrelated to Mario
• Music Supplier
• Random Image
• Sketch Related to Mario
• Sketch Unrelated to Mario
  
  

Please let me know if you would allow this for the next issue of the 'Shroom, and/or if you have any questions about any of the positions I would like to include. However, here are some notes I am going to include: If I'm correct, music files are not allowed on the wiki, but I know a good website that I can link to when doing the music projects. Also, the "Suggestions Receptionist" takes the suggestions sent in by users and considers them. The ones they find are good they send to the users who hold the position the suggestion is related to. Also, one more thing: The position "Music Supplier" is a vacant, already existing position of the 'Shroom that I would like to merge into this part of the 'Shroom. Super Mario Bros. I wanna do a 'Shroom section called "Monthly Mulligan". A mulligan is a do-over in golf. I'd review a game, rate it, and then say what I'd change about it. Over the course of a few moths, I'd cover some of the games in a series.

I found a problem on Baby Park. It had nothing on the page, but on the history the latest information said:

The database did not find the text of a page that it should have found, named "(fixme, bug)".

Yoshi! YellowYoshi127 Stooby please tell me how you do the poll formula and write it down as I have a fun stuff section called poll corner.

Here's how I did it for the Fake News:

1. Write your section (with the options for your poll) and send it in.
2. The day the paper is released, go to the forum under 'General Discussion', and create a poll there. (You should call it "Poll Corner I", or something like that.)
3. Edit the page on the wiki that contains your poll section, and add a link to the topic on the forum with your poll to that section of the page.

Long Time no See! Or, My Unexplained Haitus

Stooben Rooben! This is Stumpers! How've you been, man?! So, the other day, I realized I hadn't said anything to anyone about leaving the Wiki, and I was feeling a little sheepish about it. So, how about this: I'll tell you what I've been up to in the last... six months (oh wow that long?) and then you can tell me what all I've missed in the land of Stooben and/or the Wiki? I'm sad to say this isn't a big triumphant return or anything... but it might be a bit of a return - hard to say. In any case, the reason I left was because my second semester was much, much harder than the first. This semester is just the same, so in all honesty I shouldn't devote any time to the Wiki. Between school and me getting into short story writing finally (something I've wanted to do for quite some time) the Super Mario Wiki went to the back of my head, just as did the Animal Crossing Wiki I admin(ed?) for. It's irritating - another reminder that there's way more to do in this world than I can ever hope to do. At least while in college. :)

I wonder if I should post messages on anyone else's talk pages? Meh... not enough time tonight... I shouldn't even be here writing this but I missed the Wiki too much. Time to studying for my exam tomorrow! I really hope your status is correct and you're still active so you get this message! Can't wait to hear back from you!

Ha, ha, ha! You're too kind! I was hoping that you guys would just assume that college had eaten my life, but I didn't want to guys to think that something horrible had happened to me or others I'm close to, especially when I was inactive over summer. I'm really, really glad to hear that you're life is looking up - I was worried there! It would be great to be back on the staff, but I just don't think it's something I can handle right now on top of the things that (at the risk of insulting the Wiki) really matter in my life (ie not failing my classes). I'm hoping I can drop by maybe once a week or so to poke around the proposals and main talk page in addition to making some smaller edits here and there. The full blown article rewrites will probably have to wait until I finish the short story... ha, ha - I don't really have time for that, either, but there you go! Sorry to hear about the hacking... that's gotta be freakish... Can't imagine what it's like... excuse me while I go change all of my passwords to gibberish that I can't even remember. :D Great to hear back from you!
