Stage 6-2 is the second level in the Airplane in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. This level features many doors, five of which are fake.

Layout[edit]

Mario starts off near the bottom right of the level, directly in front of a ladder. He must lead left to the Thwomp Platform, which he must then hop onto. The platform will then take him up to a few ledges. The ledge on the left holds the hat, while there is a switch on the right ledge. Mario must pull the switch to raise the wall just to the right. He must then head right and drop down and activate the switch next to the long ladder. Doing so causes a bridge to appear across the stage, allowing Mario to easily reach the bag and parasol. After getting the key, Mario must bring it over to the right side of the stage, quickly climb down the ladder and flip the switch again. This results in the bridge vanishing, causing the key to drop down. Mario can then pick up the key and head left. He must enter the second leftmost door (the one just left of the Thwomp Platform) to complete the level.

Enemies[edit]

Pauline's lost items[edit]

Within this stage, Pauline's lost items can be found in the following order and in the following places:

  • Hat: On the ledge just below the platform with the key.
  • Bag: On the right side of the stage, easily reached after activating the bridge.
  • Parasol: To the right of the top fake door, suspended in midair.
