Template:Minigame-infobox Donkey Kong is one of 18-Volt's microgames in WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase. It returns in WarioWare Gold as one of 9-Volt's microgames. It is set in the game of the same name.

Gameplay

Donkey Kong throws two barrels which the player must tap in order to destroy. If one touches Mario, the game is lost. If the barrels are destroyed, Mario will be able to climb to the top and reach Pauline, thus winning the game. In WarioWare Gold, the player must protect Mario from barrels and Fireballs.

WarioWare Gold

  • 1st level difficulty: There are two barrels already present at the start.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There are four barrels already present at the start.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are five barrels already present at the start, and Fireballs will also appear after a few seconds.
